The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is excited to announce multiple job openings in the Environmental Protection and Climate Change Department. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates looking to contribute to environmental sustainability in Punjab.

Available Positions

The following positions are available on a contract basis for three years, with a Basic Scale of BS-17 and BS-16:

  • Assistant Director (Air & Land) – 01 Post
  • Assistant Director (Instrumentation) – 01 Post
  • Assistant Director (Atmospheric Chemistry) – 01 Post
  • Assistant Director (Vehicular Pollution) – 02 Posts
  • Assistant Director (Analytical Chemistry) – 01 Post
  • Assistant Director (Chemicals & Hardware) – 01 Post
  • Director (Geospatial Analysis) – 01 Post
  • Assistant Director (Biodiversity) – 01 Post
  • Senior Inspector (Environmental Protection Agency) – 05 Posts (Open Merit: 04, Women Quota: 01)

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

  • Assistant Directors: M.Sc. or B.Sc. (2nd division) in relevant fields such as Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
  • Senior Inspector: B.Sc. (2nd division) in Environmental Sciences or a related field.

Age Requirements

  • Males and Females: Age limit is 21 to 30 years, with a 5-year relaxation for all candidates and 8 years for female and transgender candidates.
  • Senior Inspector: Age limit is 18 to 28 years, with similar relaxations.
