The Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP) is inviting applications for the position of Director General / Chief Executive Officer. This role is crucial for advancing the oil and gas sector in Pakistan.

Position Details:

Qualifications Required:

• Educational Background: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or Master’s Degree (MS/M.Phil) in fields such as Chemistry, Geosciences (Geophysics, Geology), Chemical Engineering, or Petroleum & Gas Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.

Experience:

• A minimum of 25 years of experience in the public or private sector, specifically in the oil and gas industry.

Contract and Age Limit:

• The position is offered on a 3-year contract.
• Candidates should be 62 years old or younger on the closing date of applications.

Additional Requirements:

• Domicile: Merit-based
• Nationality: Must be a Pakistani citizen.

Salary and Grade:

• The successful candidate will be appointed in Management Grade-I (M-I).
