Green-AI Project Management Unit – Ministry of Defence Jobs 2024

The Government of Pakistan, through the Ministry of Defence, is embarking on an innovative journey with its Green-AI Project Management Unit. This initiative aims to harness the power of ICT and Artificial Intelligence to revolutionize precision agriculture using advanced aerospace technologies. We are currently inviting applications for several key positions based in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Lahore.

Available Positions

We are looking for motivated individuals to fill the following roles on a contract basis, with a possibility of extension based on performance:

1. Senior Research Officer (PPS-9)
   • Max Age Limit: 40+5 years
   • Qualifications:
     • PhD in Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, Metabolic Engineering, or Nanotechnology
     • Minimum 6 years of experience in product design and development, along with expertise in experimental and validation plans.
     • An MBA degree with strong connections to the agro-market and its value chain players is a plus.
2. Scientific Officer (PPS-8)
   • Max Age Limit: 35+5 years
   • Qualifications:
     • PhD in a related field, preferably with 3-5 years of experience.
     • Strong background in product design and development, with an emphasis on experimental and validation plans.
     • An MBA is an additional desirable qualification.
3. Research Assistant (PPS-7)
   • Max Age Limit: 30+5 years
   • Qualifications:
     • MS in Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, Metabolic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or Chemistry.
     • Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience in product design and development, along with a basic understanding of experimental plans.
     • An MBA or BBA with agro-market experience is preferred.
4. Office Boy/Naib Qasid (PPS-1)
   • Max Age Limit: 25+5 years
   • Qualifications:
     • Matriculation, preferably with some experience.
