Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) is inviting applications for various administrative/non-teaching positions on a contract basis. Qualified candidates from Sindh Province are encouraged to apply for the following roles:

Available Positions

1. Controller of Examinations (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Master’s Degree/ MBA with at least 15 years of administrative experience, including handling examinations. Preference for those with experience as Controller/Deputy Controller.

2. Librarian (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Ph.D. in relevant field or Master’s/M.Phil in Library Science with 14 years of experience.

3. Director (QEC) (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Ph.D. with 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a university setting.

4. Director (ORIC) (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Ph.D. with 10 years of relevant experience and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

5. Director Sports (Equivalent to BPS-19)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Master’s Degree in Physical Education or equivalent with 14 years of relevant experience.

6. Director Advisor Students Affairs (Equivalent to BPS-19/20)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Master’s Degree with 14 years of relevant experience; preference for retired Armed Forces personnel.

7. Director Postgraduate Studies (Equivalent to BPS-19/20)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Ph.D. with 15 years of teaching/research experience, including publications in recognized journals.

8. Director Human Resources (Equivalent to BPS-19/20)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification/Experience: Master’s in human resource management with 10-12 years of experience, preferably in higher education.

9. Internal Auditor (Equivalent to BPS-17)

• Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualification/Experience: ACCA/ICMA or BBA/MBA in Finance/Accounting with 5 years of relevant audit experience.

Application Process

Interested candidates may apply online through the DUET Career Portal. Submit the application form along with attested copies of relevant documents (academic certificates, experience certificates, domicile, and CNIC) to the Registrar’s Office by 14-10-2024.

Application Fee

• A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 2,000 for each position is to be deposited at Sindh Bank Ltd, Jamshed Quarters Branch, Karachi. The original challan/receipt must be attached with the application form.

Important Notes

1. Previous applicants (from earlier advertisements) do not need to reapply unless they wish to revoke their application.
2. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be considered.
3. Government employees must apply through the proper channel with an NOC.
4. DUET reserves the right to withdraw positions for justifiable reasons.
5. Canvassing in any form will disqualify candidates.
6. Only eligible candidates will be contacted for the test/interview, and no TADA will be provided.
